Alan ThodeyFounder & PresidentResponsible for its vision, strategy and products since its founding in 1979.×Alan ThodeyAlan Thodey is the Founder and President of Abelisk Software and has been responsible for its vision, strategy and products since its founding in 1979. He led the team designing and developing the system through each new version. He has approached his role from that of a user emphatic about the need to exceed expected user requirements while providing a positive user experience. His broad background also allowed him to have a key role in both marketing and support.
At Abelisk, Alan’s responsibilities include corporate management and governance, strategic planning, leadership, software development, implementation planning and execution, training and sales. Alan is currently President of Abelisk, Inc. (renamed from Argos, Inc. in November 2015 and doing business as Abelisk Software). Alan has a strong background in international consulting, university faculty positions, software design, marketing, and software implementation. He holds a B.Ec. (Honors) from the University of Tasmania and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.
Geoff HukinsExecutive Vice PresidentAcknowledged industry expert in the distribution and logistics industries.×Geoff HukinsGeoff Hukins is an acknowledged industry expert in the distribution and logistics industries. Geoff has worked as an executive in supply chain-focused industries and with multinational clients as a specialist consultant over a 15-year period to 2004. He joined Argos Software as Executive Director in 2004, with a heavy focus on marketing, sales and product design. He consulted with users in process re-engineering, operational efficiency and general management. Geoff was the sole vendor representative on the Board of Directors of the International Warehouse Logistics Association until he resigned in July 2015. Geoff holds a B.Sc. (Metallurgy) from the University of New South Wales and an M.B.A. from Macquarie University.
At Abelisk, Geoff’s responsibilities include sales, marketing, channel development, customer relations, and product management. He was a founding member of the Abelisk team in 2009 and has been heavily involved in the functional design of Abelisk, in setting requirements for the user experience, and in developing the Abelisk go-to-market strategy and plans.
Rossen TotevChief Development OfficerResponsible for system architecture, development infrastructure, design, coding & testing of Abelisk×Rossen TotevRossen Totev is responsible for the systems architecture, development infrastructure, design, coding and testing of Abelisk. He was a founding member of the Abelisk team in 2009. He manages a team of development and test engineers, while mentoring and coaching the staff to create a strong engineering culture focused on customer needs, high-quality product implementation, agile problem-solving and self-motivated innovation. Rossen also coordinated and implemented third party products as part of the Abelisk framework.
Rossen began with Argos Software in 2001 and was responsible for the design, implementation and support of the systems architecture and development infrastructure as well as various supply chain modules, mobile and web applications and systems tools. He managed our product development teams in Sri Lanka and Bulgaria. Rossen holds an A.A.S. (with Honors) in Computer Technology from Heald College in California and a B.Ec. (Honors) in Economics and Management from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria.
